Where did the smart online model come from, and in what context?

First of all, from the perspective of industrial macro demand, the healthy and sustainable development of data center industry, green is the only way. It is an inevitable trend to reconfigure the power supply system by integrating high density, high efficiency and energy saving. The intelligent online mode is a typical core technology to improve the efficiency of the power supply system. Secondly, according to the green design of the data center itself, the energy consumption of the traditional power supply system accounts for nearly 10% of the total energy consumption of the data center, so it is also urgent to upgrade the technology around the efficiency improvement of the UPS. The traditional UPS operating mode is mainly online dual conversion mode, that is, through the mains rectifier and inverter conversion twice, to supply high-quality mains power to the load. This mode has the advantage of high reliability, but the disadvantage is low efficiency, which will bring high power consumption.

To create greater efficiency, ECO mode is derived, which provides power to the load by static UPS bypass, equivalent to direct mains supply, to achieve greater efficiency. However, the ECO mode also has a disadvantage, that is, there will be switching discontinuity and harmonic compensation, which will reduce the stability of the system.
