First carry out the no-load test run of the inverter

First check that all the wiring of the inverter is correct. The output of the inverter should not be connected to the motor first, and the inverter should be tested for no-load first. Read the inverter user manual carefully before power-on, familiar with the relevant functions and settings, operation methods, and power on this basis.

There are two purposes for no-load test operation: one is to familiarize with the keyboard and related operation methods through actual operation, such as performing positive, reverse, stop, etc., and observe the action of the inverter, whether the temperature rise is normal.

The second is to familiarize with the setting of the relevant functions and the operation method. After setting, you can try the action state and action process of the basic function, such as the rise and fall time settings. On this basis, look at the signal of the external terminal, and control whether the action is normal. For example, when the potentiometer is rotated clockwise or the frequency given current is changed, whether the change of the output frequency of the inverter changes simultaneously with the given signal.

2 inverter with motor no-load test run

After the inverter's no-load test run is normal, the motor can be connected to the no-load test run. Before connecting the motor, be sure to confirm that the technical specifications of the motor are qualified.

Do not load the motor. Then let the inverter drive the motor to rotate and observe whether it is normal, such as whether the motor rotates in the right direction. Turn the frequency given potentiometer counterclockwise to 0Hz at the left end, then turn on the forward rotation switch (FWD) of the inverter, and slowly rotate the potentiometer clockwise to gradually increase the given frequency and observe the rotation of the motor. When the maximum frequency is 50%, let the motor rotate for a few minutes, observe the voltage and current value, and then let the output frequency of the inverter reach the maximum frequency, then let the motor rotate for a few minutes, and observe the voltage and current value. Then let the output frequency of the inverter reach the maximum frequency, and then let the motor rotate for a few minutes.

Then turn the output frequency down to 75%, 25% of the maximum frequency, let the motor rotate for a while, then increase the output frequency, then disconnect the forward switch (FWD) to see if the motor decelerates according to the set. Time stops. This process basically does not need to set the parameters, it is feasible to use the default values of the parameters when the inverter is shipped.

3 inverter with load running debugging

Before starting the commissioning, check that there is no personnel working around the load, and there is no foreign matter on the load before the load can be debugged. When debugging, first give a small frequency, observe whether the load operation is stable, whether there is abnormal sound running, if there is analysis reason; observe the inverter torque, the current is abnormal, generally the inverter is loaded with load, current torque Larger, the current torque is relatively stable when running to a given frequency.

Furthermore, the torque current after the external load running-in period has a certain extent. If the load reaches the rated value after the inverter is running, it must be judged whether the inverter and the motor are matched with the load. If so, it needs to be replaced in time. The inverter and motor of the first-class model make the control current and torque reach the range; in addition, according to the load characteristics, the reasonable acceleration/deceleration time is set to ensure that the inverter does not report over-current protection during operation and startup.
